Job summary

JMC Aviation is recruiting for a Technical Services Engineer at Stansted. The role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing complex maintenance and modification projects, and ensuring compliance with EASA/Foreign NAA requirements.

You will liaise with customers and approved third-party vendors, prepare work packages, and maintain critical path timelines while delivering high standards of safety and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in project management within an engineering environment.
• Experience in aviation maintenance, operations, CAMO, or manufacturing.
• Strong PC user skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and MS Project.
• Experience using Wings ERP or equivalent.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance activities to optimise on-time delivery, within budget, and achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Produce accurate maintenance work packages and manage complex maintenance and modification projects in line with processes and procedures.
• Manage complex aircraft maintenance and modification projects to protect the critical path.
• Communicate with customers to plan maintenance inputs, ensuring work scope is received and translated into a tangible work package.
• Coordinate with approved third-party vendors to arrange services and align time estimates with critical path.
• Work with Part-21 design organisations to engineer and support customer modification requests meeting EASA/Foreign NAA requirements.
• Prepare and chair internal pre-input review meetings and meetings with customers to discuss defects and requirements.
• Coordinate the acceptance of aircraft into maintenance.
• Proactively identify and resolve critical path issues affecting the input schedule.
• Provide daily project progress updates to customers during aircraft maintenance.
• Instruct the shipping agent on aircraft import/export procedures for base maintenance projects.
• Review and complete the aircraft library, including Technical Log and Deferral Log, during input and release to service.
• Assist Document Control with reviewing paperwork and resolving issues.
• Generate documentation and support certifying staff through the return to service stage of aircraft maintenance input.
• Assist the SBDM in managing customer expectations effectively.
