Job summary

ABM UK is seeking an Aircraft Cleaner at London Gatwick Airport to join our on-site team. You will help clean and restock aircraft interiors, ensure cleanliness, and support security checks as part of a busy aviation operation.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and teamwork to meet high standards and deadlines. This permanent 40-hour/week position operates on a 4-on/4-off cycle.

Qualifications

• Very good attention to details and excellent observational skills

• Being able to quickly adapt to a very busy operational environment
• Able to work without constant supervision and follow the management instructions
• Be reliable and flexible and used to working to deadlines

Responsibilities

• Clean a range of aircraft internally including vacuuming carpets, wiping down equipment and surfaces, clean all seats, seatback pockets, tray tables and replace damaged magazines
• Cleaning and restocking aircraft consumables
• Fold blankets, store blankets and pillows in overhead compartments
• Remove rubbish from the aircraft and make sure that it is properly disposed of
• Work as part of a team and ensure that you have good knowledge of all areas of the operation and aircraft
• Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials, correct use of uniform, safety vest, earplugs, and safety behaviour actions inside and outside the aircraft
• Be professional in appearance and manners towards co-workers, clients and any other person within the airport and work location
• Exceed Prime Flight customer service and safety standards
• Carry out other duties as assigned
