Job summary

ABM is seeking a Team Leader to ensure cleaning standards are met within the time frame set at Gatwick Airport. The role requires leading a cleaning team onboard aircraft and maintaining quality, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.

You will monitor performance, assign daily tasks, and ensure airline sign-offs. A Full UK driving licence is required, and the position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a 4 on/4 off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Team Leader in cleaning or similar.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and use initiative.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Courteous and approachable demeanor.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Proactive management of the cleaning team onboard aircraft.
• Ensure that quality standards of cleaning are met.
• Set an example and deliver legendary service.
• Monitor the team to ensure adherence to standards.
• Obtain sign-off sheets from each airline and complete final walkthrough of aircraft.
• Ensure employees perform their jobs effectively and follow daily allocation plans.

HOURS: 4 on/4 off, 40 hours per week

Role and Overview

The purpose of the Team Leader is to ensure quality of cleaning standards are met within the time frame set.

The ideal candidate will have experience of cleaning. The responsibility of the cleaning and/or ensuring service level agreements are met is the responsibility of team leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactive management of cleaning team onboard aircraft.
• Ensure that the team maintains quality standards of cleaning.
• Set an example and deliver legendary service.
• Monitor the team to ensure all members are working to agreed standards.
• Responsible for obtaining sign off sheets from each airline.
• Complete final walkthrough of aircraft.
• Ensure that the employees perform their jobs effectively.
• Responsible for following daily plan of allocation set by supervisor
• Supporting the team to clean each Aircraft
• Great communication with the Supervisor and team

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate knowledge and use of the following essential skills:

• Previous Team Leader experience.
• Good inter-personal and communication skills.
• Ability to use own initiative to identify and prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Approachable and courteous manner.
• Must have a Full Clean UK Driving Licence
