Job summary

London Southend Airport is seeking an Air Traffic Engineer to oversee planned and reactive maintenance of the airport’s air traffic management systems, ensuring seamless daily operations.

You will service ATS/CNS equipment, update the Asset Management System, and support maintenance on other systems that support the operation, all within a 24/7 operational environment and the Airports' One Team culture.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience on air traffic control systems.
• Knowledge of ATS/CNS equipment servicing standards.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all planned and reactive work on ATS/CNS equipment is completed.
• Service and maintain ATS/CNS equipment according to standards.
• Update the Asset Management System.
• Support schedule and reactive maintenance on other systems that support the operation.
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
• Own operational issues when they occur and resolve them safely and timely.
• Contribute to the Airports One Team culture and assist with needs of the business.
• Be prepared for shift work as the airport operates 24/7.

About the role

As an Air Traffic Engineer at London Southend Airport, I am responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance of the airport’s air traffic management systems. My goal is to ensure that the airport operates seamlessly each day.
