Job summary

Isle of Man Government is seeking a qualified Air Traffic Control Officer to ensure safe, efficient operations at Isle of Man Airport. You will provide Aerodrome, Approach and Approach Surveillance services within Class D airspace and nearby Class G airspace.

The role involves shift work, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and overnight on-call duties. Applicants must hold UK CAA ATCO licence, ADI/APS ratings, Class 3 medical, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) Licence issued by the UK CAA.
• Hold licence ratings in ADI and APS. Holding an APP rating would be an advantage.
• Hold a valid Class 3 medical certificate.
• Hold a full, valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide ATC services including Aerodrome, Approach and Approach Surveillance within Isle of Man Class D airspace and surrounding Class G airspace.
• Operate watchkeeping ATCO duties with shift patterns including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and overnight on-call duties.
