Valoris Group is recruiting an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Service and Breakdown Engineer for an established renewable heating specialist based in Cardiff. The role focuses on servicing, fault-finding and repairing air source heat pump systems within private domestic properties in South Wales.

You will join an nine-engineer team and work to maintain high-quality domestic heat pump installations, with emphasis on safety, reliability and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing or repairing air source heat pump systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Good understanding of domestic heating and hot water systems.
• Experience working with heating controls, pumps, cylinders and associated components.
• Relevant plumbing, heating or renewable energy qualifications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Servicing and maintaining domestic air source heat pump systems.
• Diagnosing faults and completing breakdown repairs.
• Carrying out electrical, hydraulic and system performance checks.
• Identifying defective components and completing repairs or replacements.
• Investigating issues relating to controls, circulation, flow temperatures and system pressure.
• Completing planned and reactive maintenance visits.
• Ensuring systems are operating safely and efficiently.
• Providing clear advice and guidance to homeowners.
• Accurately recording completed work, findings and required follow-up actions.
• Liaising with the technical and installation teams when additional work is required.
• Delivering a professional and customer-focused service.
• Complying with relevant health and safety and industry standards.
