Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in civil, mechanical, chemical, environmental, data science, computer or transportation engineering, physics, chemistry or mathematical sciences or related fields.
• Strong skills in air pollution/urban heating monitoring and computational modelling (ENVIMET, CFD), remote sensing, and big data analysis.
• Ability to publish in top-tier journals and present data clearly.
• Self-driven, independent, and capable of generating grant-worthy research ideas.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and model the effectiveness of green infrastructure in mitigating air pollution and urban overheating.
• Utilise advanced statistical data analysis (R, Python, MATLAB) to interpret results.
• Log, clean, share, assess, and write data for publication.
• Assist with developing new grant applications and collaborations.
