The University of Surrey is inviting applications for a post-doctoral researcher to work within the Global Centre for Clean Air Research (GCARE), Surrey, UK. You will contribute to the GP4Streets project and support related initiatives, collaborating with colleagues and partners at national and international levels.

We seek a PhD holder in a relevant field, with strong skills in air pollution monitoring, urban heating modelling and big data analysis using Python, R and MATLAB.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in a relevant engineering/science discipline or nearing completion.
• Strong experience in air pollution monitoring and urban heat studies.
• Proficient in Python, R, MATLAB and large data analyses.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and model the effectiveness of green infrastructure on air quality and urban heating.
• Conduct advanced data analysis and publish results in top-tier journals.
• Collaborate with GCARE colleagues and international partners; assist grant applications.
