White Recruitment is recruiting an Express / Time-Critical Air Freight Coordinator in Feltham. You will manage end-to-end express shipments, coordinating with customers, airlines, hauliers, customs and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

This permanent night-shift role (4 on / 4 off, 19:00–07:00) offers exposure to a fast-paced air freight operation and KPI-driven service levels. You should have solid air freight experience and be comfortable working in a customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in air freight forwarding, especially time-critical shipments.
• Proven ability to coordinate shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Strong IT system proficiency including BoxTop and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We’re recruiting on behalf of an established international freight forwarding business for an Express / Time-Critical Air Freight Coordinator to join their growing operation in Feltham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced air freight professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where no two nights are the same.

Working a 4 on / 4 off night shift pattern, you’ll take ownership of express and time-critical shipments from start to finish, coordinating with customers, airlines, hauliers, customs and internal operational teams to ensure every shipment is delivered on time and to the highest possible standard.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of express and time-critical air freight movements, ensuring shipments are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with customer expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing express and time-critical air freight shipments from booking through to final delivery
• Providing exceptional customer service to key clients and maintaining strong relationships
• Processing import and export shipments from start to finish
• Creating and managing jobs on BoxTop
• Coordinating warehouse collections, picks, paperwork and transport
• Arranging and managing road transport, co-loaders and other transport providers
• Completing import and export customs clearances via CDS/ASM
• Monitoring customer KPIs and ensuring service levels are consistently achieved
• Proactively managing and resolving operational issues and customer queries
• Liaising with regional depots and transport providers to ensure shipments remain on schedule
• Managing invoicing and supporting shipment profitability

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a solid background in air freight forwarding, ideally with experience handling express, urgent or time-critical shipments.

You’ll need to be:

• Experienced within air freight / freight forwarding
• Comfortable managing shipments from start to finish for exports and imports
• Confident dealing with customers, suppliers and transport providers
• Organised and able to prioritise effectively in a time-critical environment
• Commercially aware, with an understanding of profitability and invoicing
• Confident using IT systems, including Excel, CRM systems and BoxTop
• Familiar with import/export customs processes and CDS
