Job summary

Right Now Recruitment is seeking an experienced Air Freight Commercial Manager for an international freight forwarder based in Sunbury.

You will own key airline relationships, optimise capacity across trade lanes, and negotiate competitive rates and space. This role works closely with senior management in a growing business.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 09:30 - 18:00, with opportunities to develop carrier solutions and ensure reliable air freight service.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial ownership of airline and carrier relationships.
• Build and maintain relationships with airline representatives and capacity contacts.
• Negotiate competitive airline rates, allocations and commercial agreements.
• Manage and review airline capacity and space allocations across key international trade lanes.
• Identify potential capacity shortages and secure additional or alternative airline space when required.
• Review airline performance, rates, routing options and available capacity.
• Negotiate ad-hoc rates and additional capacity directly with airlines.
• Develop alternative carrier and routing solutions where required.
