Job summary

Nter Talent in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced export airfreight professional to manage shipments from booking through departure. You will ensure accurate documentation, meet airline cut-offs, and keep customers informed throughout the process.

You will also build competitive quotes, determine routings, and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining compliance with SOPs, AEO requirements, and security standards. Hybrid working is offered with a clear path to progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling export airfreight shipments from start to finish
• Solid knowledge of export documentation (HAWB/MAWB) and customs requirements

Responsibilities

• Run export airfreight shipments end to end: collections, airline bookings, customs clearance and delivery
• Prepare and check export documentation including HAWBs/MAWBs and pre-alerts
• Track shipments against airline cut-offs and resolve issues promptly
• Keep CargoWise accurate to provide live customer visibility
• Build competitive airfreight quotes in WebCargo and follow up
• Complete shipment costing and billing accurately and on time
• Collaborate with customers, airlines, hauliers and overseas agents
• Ensure shipments meet customer SOPs, AEO requirements, and security rules

Location: Staines / Heathrow corridor (hybrid)

Salary: £35,000 - £39,000

Contract: Permanent, full time

The role

You’ll own export airfreight shipments from booking right through to departure. That means accurate documentation, hitting airline cut-offs and keeping customers in the loop before they have to ask.

There’s a commercial side too. You’ll build competitive quotes, pick the right routings and follow up on opportunities. It suits someone who enjoys winning work as much as moving it.

What you’ll be doing

• Running export airfreight shipments end to end: collections, airline bookings, customs clearance and airline delivery
• Preparing and checking export documentation, including HAWBs, MAWBs and pre-alerts
• Tracking shipments against airline cut-offs and fixing issues before they become problems
• Keeping CargoWise accurate so customers have live visibility of their freight
• Building competitive airfreight quotes in WebCargo and following them up
• Completing shipment costing and billing accurately and on time
• Working closely with customers, airlines, hauliers and overseas agents
• Making sure every shipment meets customer SOPs, AEO requirements, and customs and aviation security rules

What you’ll bring

Must have

• Proven experience handling export airfreight shipments from start to finish, ideally at a forwarder
• Solid knowledge of export documentation (HAWB/MAWB) and customs requirements
• Confidence managing several live shipments and deadlines at once
• Clear, proactive communication with customers

Nice to have

• CargoWise experience, including customs entries
• WebCargo or similar for airfreight quoting
• Understanding of AEO and aviation security standards
• Experience quoting and converting new business
