Job Description:

Orion Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer on behalf of our client, an Inverness-based engineering firm providing electrical, mechanical, fire, security, and renewable energy solutions. This is a full-time, permanent position involving installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial and residential projects throughout Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to enhance system reliability and lifespan.
• Troubleshoot faults and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Comply with all relevant health and safety standards and company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional advice to clients.
• Keep accurate service records and documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
• F Gas Certification (essential).
• Solid experience in installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on A/C and refrigeration systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
