Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an Air Conditioning PPM Engineer to join our mobile service team in Gloucester/Worcester. The role focuses on delivering planned preventative maintenance across a portfolio of commercial contracts with a company vehicle and door-to-door travel pay.

• Experience: Proven experience in a mobile commercial PPM maintenance environment.
• Licence: Full, clean UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled PPM maintenance on split systems, multi-splits, VRVs, VRFs, and close-control systems.
• Clean/replace filters, clear condensate lines, clean coils, inspect electrical connections for efficiency.
• Carry out refrigerant leak checks, track system usage, and maintain statutory logs (F-Gas compliance).
• Identify wear or faults during visits and recommend remedial repairs before breakdowns occur.
• Complete clean, professional job sheets and maintenance logs via mobile workflow app.

Air Conditioning PPM Engineer

Location: Gloucester / Worcester

Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum + Door-to-Door Travel Pay, Company Van (Can be used for private use

Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning PPM Engineer to join our mobile service team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine servicing across a diverse portfolio of commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance: Deliver scheduled PPM schedules on split systems, multi-splits, VRVs, VRFs, and close-control systems.
• System Optimization: Clean and replace filters, clear condensate lines, clean coils, and inspect electrical connections to ensure peak energy efficiency.
• F-Gas Compliance: Carry out mandatory refrigerant leak checks, track system usage, and maintain accurate statutory logs.
• Fault Diagnosis: Identify wear and tear or developing faults during routine visits, recommending remedial repairs before breakdowns occur.
• Digital Reporting: Complete clean, professional job sheets and maintenance logs via our mobile workflow app before leaving each site.

Essential Requirement

• Certification: Valid Category 1 F-Gas certificate (City & Guilds 2079 / CITB).
• Experience: Proven experience working in a mobile commercial PPM maintenance environment.
• Licence: Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
• Attributes: Strong customer-facing communication skills and a proactive approach to safety.
