Job summary

Ventaco Ltd is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer for on-site installations across Surrey and South London. You will take projects from initial install through commissioning and handover, delivering neat workmanship and adhering to safety standards.

The role covers domestic and commercial installations, split/multi-split and VRV/VRF systems, pipework, ducting and site coordination. Strong independence, team collaboration and customer liaison are required as we expand our growing

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Air Conditioning Engineer.
• Strong practical experience of air conditioning installation.
• Experience with domestic and commercial installations.
• Experience installing and commissioning split and multi-split systems.
• Experience with VRV/VRF systems.
• Good understanding of air conditioning installation practices, pipework and condensate systems.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Health and safety awareness.
• CSCS card or appropriate site health and safety accreditation.
• Ability to work independently and manage on-site work.
• Good communication and professional on-site approach with customers.
• Experience installing ducted air conditioning systems and ductwork.
• Experience with major air conditioning manufacturers.
• Additional HVAC, electrical or refrigeration qualifications.
• Experience supervising or supporting less experienced engineers.
• Experience carrying out minor builders’ work on installations.

Responsibilities

• Installation of split, multi-split and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.
• Domestic and commercial air conditioning installations.
• Commissioning, testing and handover of systems.
• Installation of pipework, condensate drainage, cabling and associated equipment.
• Work from site plans and installation requirements.
• Liaise professionally with customers and trades.
• Diagnose and resolve installation issues.
• Ensure high workmanship standards on installations.
• Follow health and safety requirements and company procedures.
• Support other engineers and team members on site.
• Ductwork installation where relevant to project.
• Carry out minor builders’ work such as chasing walls and making good.
