Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to join a Surrey-based HVAC services provider. You will service, maintain and fault-find across domestic and commercial sites, with some installation work and a focus on work-life balance.

The role requires 5+ years' experience, NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and refrigeration (or City & Guilds equivalent), and an F-Gas 2079 certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience servicing, maintaining and installing air conditioning equipment.
• Customer facing responsibilities across domestic and commercial sites.
• Commutable distance within patch, e.g. within 45mins of Guildford.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, breakdown and fault-finding on air conditioning equipment (VRV/VRF/splits/Multi-splits).
• Conduct some installation work and support across varied sites (homes, offices, schools, hotels).
• Work with HVAC systems to deliver reliable performance with good work-life balance.

Job description

Position: Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, West Sussex
Salary: £40,000 to £48,000
Air Conditioning Engineer required, for our client, a HVAC services provider based in Surrey, who operate across the Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex areas. The Air Conditioning Engineer will ideally be an all-rounder, as they will be responsible for reactive and planned service and maintenance across both domestic and commercial sites, as well as some installation works. Sites will range from large domestic housing, to commercial sites such as offices, schools and hotels etc.

The Air Conditioning engineer will be performing service, maintenance, breakdown and fault-finding tasks on & Air Conditioning equipment such as VRV's, VRF's Splits and Multi-splits, as well as small installations. There is no call out rota or extensive overtime, so this would suit a time served engineer, who is looking for a work life balance.

It is expected that the Air Conditioning Engineer will have proven experience within the HVAC industry and hold recognised qualifications and certifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and refrigeration or the City and Guilds equivalent as well as F-Gas 2079 or Safe Handling of Refrigerants.
