Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client’s facilities management team in a site-based role near Leicester. You will maintain, service and repair a range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

The role involves 40-hour weeks, a Monday–Friday core schedule, and participation in an on-call rota. The package includes competitive pay up to £42,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer in facilities management.
• F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, maintenance & repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems including split, VRV/VRF and chillers.
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning coils and replacing filters to prolong equipment life.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Conduct system inspections and identify issues, recommending effective solutions.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and contractors for complex repairs and upgrades.

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client's team of facilities management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction.

This is a site based opportunity, located near Leicester, Leicestershire.

Package

• Competitive salary of up to £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
• Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry
• Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
• Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
