Job summary

HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer in North Wales/Cheshire. You will service, maintain and fault diagnose VRF/VRV and split systems on client sites, with strong manufacturer training provided.

Role offers door-to-door pay, a 40-hour week, and opportunities for professional development. A company van and tools are provided along with pension and overtime enhancements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with VRF/VRV and split systems including diagnostics via manufacturer software.
• F-Gas certification (Category 1) is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and fault diagnose VRF/VRV systems across major manufacturers.
• Carry out repairs, overhauls, and major component replacements.
• Conduct routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
• Utilise manufacturer service monitoring systems for diagnostics and system optimisation.
• Respond to emergency call-outs as required.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.

Salary:£45,000 - £50,000 per annum (door-to-door pay, subject to experience)
Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedAir Conditioning Engineerto join our growing service division. The role involves servicing, maintaining, and fault diagnosingair conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systemsacross client sites, with a primary focus on VRF/VRV systems. Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and fault diagnoseVRF/VRV systemsacross all major manufacturers (Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Daikin, Samsung).
• Carry outrepairs, overhauls, and major component replacements.
• Conductroutine planned preventative maintenance (PPM)across air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
• Utilise manufacturer service monitoring systems for diagnostics and system optimisation.
• Respond toemergency call-outsas required.
• Ensure compliance withhealth & safety standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional client relationships.

Qualifications & Experience (Essential)

• Proven experience withVRF/VRV and split systems, including diagnostics via manufacturer software.
• Experience incommercial refrigeration and chiller systems.
• Experience inventilation systemsincluding HRUs and AHUs.
• F-Gas certification(Category 1).
• Full UK driving licence.

(Desirable)

• Additional refrigeration or electrical qualifications.
• Experience across multiple manufacturers’ service platforms.
