• Certification F-Gas (2079) – formation fournie si nécessaire.
• Expérience antérieure sur des systèmes commerciaux et dans des rôles de service sur le terrain.

Responsibilities

• Effectuer la maintenance préventive et réactive sur divers systèmes mécaniques et électriques commerciaux.
• Diagnostiquer et réparer des pannes efficacement sur le terrain.
• Gérer les plannings de service et maintenir les équipements à des normes élevées.

Job description

Job Title: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time (40 hrs on site time)

Location: London (field-based)

Benefits: 20 days holiday increasing to 25 days holiday after 12 months employment + 8 bank holidays, birthday off, fully expensed company van, callout rota with standby payment, excellent training opportunities and discretionary company bonuses.

We’re partnering with a leading service and maintenance specialist to recruit an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer to join their friendly and growing team based in London. This role offers a brilliant mix of hands-on technical work, client interaction, and the opportunity to work with a wide range of commercial systems and equipment.

Whether it’s planned maintenance, urgent call-outs, or ensuring client systems are running smoothly, this company is known for going above and beyond and they’re looking for someone who shares the same commitment.

Duties include:

• Carrying out routine and reactive maintenance on a variety of commercial mechanical and electrical systems (air conditioning and refrigeration).
• Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently and effectively in the field.
• Managing service schedules and maintaining equipment to high standards.
• Delivering top-notch service to clients and maintaining strong relationships.
• Completing service documentation accurately and promptly.
• Occasionally supporting installations and training less experienced team members.
• Stay up to date with industry standards and ensure all required qualifications and safety certifications are current and compliant.

Skills and experience required:

• A recognised technical qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
• F-Gas certification (2079) – hydrocarbon training provided if needed.
• Previous experience working on commercial systems and field-based service roles.
• A full UK driving licence.
• CSCS card required – (if not training will be provided).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to be part of an on-call rota.
