Job description

Randstad C&P are working with an established company specialising in providing a full service from install and design to service and repair in HVAC and renewables. They are currently looking for an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer to join their team.

Package:

1. Monday to Friday
2. GBP 18-22 per hour
3. Door to door pay
4. 1 in 7 on call (GBP 90 retainer)
5. Plenty of overtime available

Responsibilities:

1. Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions.
2. Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance.
3. Coordinate and control all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative maintenance works.
4. Liaise closely with the client (Domestic & Commercial clients) to maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.
5. Work in a safe and controlled manner following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements.
6. Take part in the on-call rota to support the business achieve its 24/7/365 response.

Ideal Candidate:

1. A highly experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer, with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, you will be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
2. An individual who has previously worked with VRVs, Coldrooms, Close Control and Chilled Water systems.
3. Full Driving license.
4. Ability to provide a DBS Certificate.
