Job summary

TrueNorth is seeking a highly capable, hands-on AI Transformation Engineer to build and embed a portfolio of internal AI tools, workflow agents and reusable skills. The role requires independent problem framing, build-vs-buy decisions, and production deployment across the organisation.

You will work in a hybrid London setting, reporting to the Chief of Staff and collaborating with senior leaders including the CEO and VP of Engineering.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AI engineer capable of designing, building, testing and deploying solutions.
• Experience delivering production agentic AI tools using Claude, MCP or comparable technologies.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and architecture knowledge.
• Experience integrating APIs, connectors, business systems and trusted data sources.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a portfolio of production-ready AI tools, agents and workflow automations.
• Lead discovery sessions with senior leaders across functions.
• Create a prioritized delivery backlog with measurable commercial value.
• Make build-versus-buy and integration decisions with security in mind.
• Design secure integrations with internal systems and third-party platforms.
• Develop a cohesive technical architecture for internal AI tooling.
• Plan adoption, track usage and iterate based on feedback.
• Aim for reductions in manual effort and operating costs.
