Job summary

Valtech is seeking a Technical Director of AI Engineering to lead AI transformation across UK clients. You will guide AI policy, enterprise AI strategy, and governance, while mentoring teams and partnering with Anthropic.

Your role embeds within client engagements, balancing strategic direction with hands-on delivery. You will coach delivery teams, cultivate senior client relationships, and establish scalable AI pipelines and governance across projects, ensuring responsible, high-impact outcomes

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large transformation programmes.
• Experience guiding AI adoption and policy within enterprise settings.
• Ability to influence C-level stakeholders with credibility and humility.
• Strong technical fluency across platforms, architecture and modern delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead UK AI transformation and act as a key decision-maker in Valtech UK Technology leadership.
• Own the UK relationship with Anthropic and guide joint enablement, delivery plans and partnerships.
• Drive AI policy, governance and responsible adoption across product and operations.
