Job summary

M&G seeks an experienced AI Strategy & Operating Model Consultant within Corporate Functions to shape future-state capabilities and governance for key functions including Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, HR, Co-Sec, Audit and Workplace Solutions.

You will partner with senior business and technology leaders, translating strategic ambition into executable roadmaps and designing effective operating models, governance, and executive artefacts to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy consulting or transformation strategy for large organisations.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into executable plans and roadmaps.
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills for executive leaders.
• Comfort engaging with Directors and ExCo-1 leaders.
• Experience facilitating senior stakeholder workshops and discussions.
• Knowledge of AI, automation, data and digital transformation within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Support development of AI, digital and technology strategies across Corporate Functions.
• Shape artefacts such as Board papers, ExCo presentations and roadmaps.
• Define future-state operating models and governance structures.
• Facilitate design-thinking and operating model workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Structure complex challenges into clear options and recommendations.
• Support business case development, cost-benefit analysis and planning.
• Identify opportunities for AI-enabled optimisation across Corporate Functions.
• Develop practical recommendations to enable AI adoption and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Technology, Data, Architecture and Business teams on execution plans.
