Job summary

Hitachi Solutions Europe Limited seeks an experienced AI Architect to lead designing secure, scalable AI solutions across enterprise and public sector programmes. You will shape end‑to‑end AI solutions from discovery to production, serving as a trusted advisor, defining architectures, guardrails and patterns within the Microsoft ecosystem.

You will oversee governance, security and Responsible AI by design, and work with delivery teams to ensure quality, scalability and business impact.

Qualifications

• Extensive AI and data solutions delivery in complex enterprise environments.
• Production‑grade AI solutions from discovery to live operations.
• Hands‑on with Microsoft cloud and AI ecosystem including Foundry.
• Experience integrating Power Platform in large scale deployments.
• Strong security, identity and compliance knowledge (Entra ID, RBAC).
• Expertise designing LLM‑based solutions with RAG and agent architectures.
• Proven consulting experience translating tech to business outcomes.
• Mentoring junior AI engineers or consultants.

Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end AI client architectures including Generative AI and agents.
• Define enterprise AI patterns, reference architectures, reusable blocks.
• Lead AI governance, security and Responsible AI by design.
• Provide architectural oversight for delivery teams.
• Support pre‑sales and discovery with technical estimates and roadmaps.
• Advise stakeholders on feasibility, risks and long‑term sustainability.
• Build reference implementations and accelerators to guide delivery.
