Job summary

Berenberg in London seeks an IT professional to drive AI-powered banking solutions within an agile team. You will work on modern tech like Python, Java/Kotlin, Angular, Docker and Kubernetes, and collaborate with business units to deliver value-driven AI applications.

You’ll help design, develop and integrate AI services into banking processes, mentor peers, and shape reference architectures while operating on-site in our London office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional software development experience, with initial AI/ML and cloud deployment exposure.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java/Kotlin and frontend experience (Angular/TypeScript).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize scalable backend and AI-powered services.
• Implement full-stack solutions using Java/Kotlin, Angular and Python with AI components.
• Shape long-term AI and software architecture for future efficiency and readiness.
