Job summary

Burns Sheehan Limited is recruiting an Engineering Lead for an AI-native SaaS platform. You’ll guide small squads (up to 4 engineers), stay hands-on 70% technically, and drive real-time infrastructure and frontend experiences.

Initially you’ll operate as an IC for 3 months, then assume leadership duties, shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with product/design to deliver scalable features for thousands of customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading small teams while still contributing technically.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (GCP or AWS).

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Engineers while staying deeply technical.
• Contribute across the stack (React, Node.js/Typescript, Golang, GCP) with backend experience highly valued.
• Shape and deliver high-quality features that scale with thousands of customers.
• Advocate for engineering best practices and help raise the technical bar.
• Collaborate with product and design to deliver exceptional user experiences.
