Job summary

Currys is recruiting a Commercial Data & AI Readiness Lead in London, operating in a hybrid role for a 12-month FTC. You’ll audit commercial data sources, define priorities, and set data specifications to enable AI squads on the Azure Databricks platform.

You’ll coordinate with Commercial, Finance and Group Data teams to champion data governance and phased AI tooling readiness. The role emphasizes foundational data work rather than building pipelines, with a focus on delivering a robust

Qualifications

• Experience auditing and rationalising complex, multi-source data landscapes.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to align multiple teams around a data strategy.
• Experience defining reporting suite specifications and dashboard requirements in a commercial context.

Responsibilities

• Audit all commercial data sources in use across the business.
• Identify reporting gaps and inconsistencies in data, and capture priorities.
• Own definitions and arbitrate decisions through build and verify datasets against specs.
• Create a full specification for the commercial reporting suite.
• Produce high-level dashboard requirements to guide future build.
• Create an AI readiness roadmap aligned to the Commercial Transformation programme.
• Ensure alignment with Commercial, Finance, and Group Data teams.
