The Opportunity

As an AI Pre-Sales Scientist, you will communicate FICO’s AI/Gen AI and machine learning/analytic methods and innovations to clients, supporting sales efforts for FICO’s solutions that manage risk, combat financial crime, build profitable customer relationships, and meet regulatory requirements. You will engage with mid-level management and technical audiences to demonstrate FICO’s product differentiation and IP, support sales presentations, and gather customer feedback to inform product development.

What You'll Do

• Enhance engagement with internal and external stakeholders on AI/Gen AI topics.
• Drive customer understanding of FICO’s AI/Gen AI products, aligning customer needs with machine learning and analytic methods.
• Provide feedback for product development based on customer interactions.
• Participate in research to identify emerging AI/Gen AI trends and technologies to develop new products and expand our IP.
• Lead external communications, including speaking engagements, collateral, presentations, and social media messaging.
• Create proof of concepts, product demos, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and prepare sales proposals.

What We're Seeking

• MSc in computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, mathematics, operations research, or natural sciences, with hands-on data science experience including AI/Gen AI and machine learning.
• Experience analyzing large data sets, data cleaning, and statistical analysis.
• Proven experience with at least three machine learning algorithms (e.g., neural networks, logistic regression, random forests).
• Proficiency with Java and Python, understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Experience with AI/Gen AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS SageMaker or Azure Machine Learning.
• Ability to translate business problems into solutions.
• Strong communication skills; bilingualism/multilingualism is a plus.
• Willingness to travel (50% — national and international).
