Job summary

Ricoh, a global leader in digital services, is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our cloud-focused quality engineering team in the UK. You will shape automated testing strategies, contribute to AI-supported automation capabilities, and help drive reliability across our products.

You will collaborate in an agile environment, develop automated tests with Playwright, JavaScript and TypeScript, and continuously improve our CI/CD integration and testing practices while expanding your own

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience in test automation with JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation framework.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot is a plus.
Understanding of Agile software development practices and CI/CD environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving quality through automation.
Fluency in professional English (written and spoken).
ISTQB CTFL certification desirable.

Responsibilities

Collaborate within a cross-functional Agile team to deliver high-quality cloud-based solutions.
Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to design automated test coverage.
Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Investigate test failures and improve reliability of automation assets.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
Contribute to AI-assisted automation framework and best practices.
