Job summary

Royal London in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to drive quality engineering across our digital platforms, focusing on scalable automation and reliable delivery. You will design, build and maintain Playwright-based automation, integrate tests into Azure DevOps pipelines, and work with engineers, product owners and analysts to embed quality throughout the software lifecycle.

You will mentor others, promote modern quality practices, and balance automation investment with delivery needs

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building automated testing solutions with Playwright.
• Ability to develop enterprise-scale automation frameworks.
• Experience testing APIs/services with ReadyAPI and Postman.
• Familiarity with RESTful architectures and integration testing.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks and automated acceptance testing in Agile.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable automation solutions and evolving frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automated UI, API and end-to-end tests.
• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, PO and BAs to embed quality.
