Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the UK is seeking an AI Platform & Site Reliability Engineering Managing Consultant to help clients design, build and scale secure AI platforms. You will blend platform engineering, SRE, observability and intelligent operations to move from experimentation to production-grade services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, delivering and operating cloud-native, platform engineering, AI platform or reliability engineering solutions within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of AI platform architectures including LLMOps, MLOps, agentic AI frameworks, model lifecycle management and AI operational controls.
• Experience establishing and scaling SRE practices including observability, SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management and reliability engineering.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, regulatory requirements and model risk management.
• Experience implementing observability strategies using modern monitoring, telemetry and operational analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to advise senior stakeholders and lead multidisciplinary transformation programmes.
• Experience working across hyperscaler ecosystems including Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Define AI platform strategies and architecture for enterprise clients, including LLM and MLOps foundations.
• Design scalable AI platform capabilities, including model deployment and observability.
• Establish SRE practices with SLIs, SLOs, error budgets and capacity planning.
• Implement observability strategies across AI workloads with telemetry and analytics.
• Apply reliability engineering to AI-enabled services, managing data quality and model drift.
• Embed governance and responsible AI practices within platform programs.
• Lead client advisory work and transformation roadmaps with C-level stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, operations and business units.
