Job summary

IFS is building the next generation of AI-native enterprise software, embedding AI into platform and product workflows. We seek engineers who deliver production AI systems, with hands-on experience beyond tooling and ChatGPT copilots, to ship real AI-powered products at enterprise scale.

You will embed with product and customer teams, drive patterns on the IFS Cloud platform, and help grow velocity with production-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of software development with hands-on stack experience.
• Strong back-end (Go) and front-end (React) capabilities with production exposure.
• Experience in cloud-native environments and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Embed with product teams and customer engineers to maximise velocity.
• Lead technical discovery and identify root bottlenecks, not symptoms.
• Design production-grade solutions on the IFS Cloud platform: workflows and data pipelines.
• Champion event-driven patterns and maintain platform resilience.
• Build tooling and reference implementations to accelerate adoption of Kairos and Nexus.
• Ship first version quickly, then harden with monitoring and real usage feedback.
• Collaborate with NGA architecture to shape Internal Developer Platform requirements.
• Translate pain points into concrete platform feedback for roadmaps.
• Engage with customer architects and business stakeholders, communicating trade-offs clearly.
• Be the connective tissue between IFS R&D and platform consumers.
