Mongoose Gray is seeking an AI Operational Excellence Engineer to accelerate internal systems with AI-powered automations. This hybrid builder/strategist role blends engineering, process ownership, and internal consulting to remove manual bottlenecks.

You will own key metrics, build scalable playbooks, and drive adoption of AI tools across ops, support, finance, and GTM. The position offers hybrid work and equity opportunities in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI-powered automations.
• Experience designing and deploying agents and copilots.
• Strong data manipulation and scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit workflows across ops, support, finance, GTM, and People for automation opportunities.
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automations to remove bottlenecks.
• Partner with leads to translate messy processes into scalable systems.
• Own operational metrics and drive measurable improvement.
• Evaluate AI/automation tooling with speed and pragmatism.
• Create dashboards and monitoring for real-time visibility.
• Develop playbooks and docs to sustain improvements during rapid growth.
• Act as internal AI enablement resource and train teams.
