Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Solution Engineer for the UK market who can translate complex data challenges into Snowflake-based solutions. You will work with the account sales team and partners to understand customer needs, evaluate solutions, and guide customers to choose Snowflake.

You will demonstrate Snowflake technology, build technical champions, and stay at the forefront of data tech, collaborating with Product, Engineering and Marketing to improve our offerings and positioning in the market.

Qualifications

• Experience with SaaS environments or relevant industry experience (analytics, data engineering)
• Outstanding presentation skills to technical and executive audiences
• Understanding of data architecture, data analytics and cloud technology
• Hands-on experience with SQL and applying Snowflake solutions to customer problems
• Strong customer-facing communication of vision to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake value throughout the sales cycle from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
• Build technical champions in accounts to drive deals and achieve a technical win
• Present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality to customers and prospects
• Stay at the cutting edge of Snowflake technology and position Snowflake against competitors
• Collaborate with other sales engineers to share wins and losses and learn
• Work with Product, Engineering and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and messaging
• Represent Snowflake at industry or customer events
• Collaborate with partners to build joint architectures and account strategies
• Contribute to account & territory plans and engage the broader ecosystem
