Job summary

JPMorganChase in London is seeking an AI/ML Software Engineer to deliver end-to-end AI/ML projects within an Agile framework. You will transform business requirements into technical specifications, set milestones, and ensure timely delivery while writing secure production code.

You will build and maintain algorithms, create architecture artifacts, and develop visualizations from large data sets, contributing to engineering communities and exploring emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience developing production AI/ML solutions.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Auto-GPT.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning and AI.
• Expertise in at least one area: LLMs, NLP, Knowledge Graph, CV, Speech, RL, or Time Series.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, ML, data mining, IR, statistics.
• Understanding of ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, MXNet, Scikit-Learn.
• Strong Python and Spark programming; vector ops with NumPy/SciPy; distributed compute with multithreading, multi-GPUs, Dask, Ray, Polars.
• AWS Cloud services such as EMR, Sagemaker.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI/ML projects through the ML development life cycle using Agile.
• Transform business requirements into AI/ML specifications, define milestones, and ensure timely delivery.
• Execute solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches.
• Create secure and high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met.
• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets.
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies.
