Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Experience with agentic workflows and frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Auto-GPT).
• Proficient in Java or Python; strong software engineering practices.
• Experience leading software engineering or AI/ML teams delivering production-grade solutions.
• Experience using approved AI-assisted development tools with validation for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code, review and debug code.
• Lead a local team of software engineers and applied AI/ML practitioners.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to set technical vision and roadmaps.
• Translate business requirements into robust software and AI/ML specs, define milestones.
• Architect, design, and develop secure production software using Java or Python with AI techniques.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues, improving reliability.
• Design experiments, implement algorithms, validate results, productionize scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Drive team adoption of enterprise AI practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
