About the Role
Zenith is looking to recruit an experienced AI & Microsoft Training Specialist to join our growing Apprenticeship team.
In this role, you will design, deliver and continuously improve high-impact learning experiences that drive measurable outcomes for both learners and employer partners.
Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager, you will play a key role in delivering and enhancing our AI and automation apprenticeship pathways, including:
- Level 3 AI Integration Digital Support Technician
- Level 4 AI & Automation Practitioner
Working closely with the wider apprenticeship delivery team, you will ensure high-quality teaching, learning and assessment while helping learners and employers embrace Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and AI-driven ways of working. You'll be responsible for translating technical capability into practical, real-world business impact.
Key Responsibilities
AI Programme & Apprenticeship Delivery
- Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across AI and digital apprenticeship programmes.
- Embed Microsoft Copilot and AI tools into apprenticeship delivery and learner activities.
- Support learners throughout their journey, including onboarding, progression and End Point Assessment preparation.
- Maintain a strong focus on learner achievement, progression and outcomes.
Curriculum & Content Development
- Design and develop engaging learning content aligned to apprenticeship standards.
- Create blended learning materials including workshops, digital learning modules, practical labs and video content.
- Deliver training covering:
- Microsoft 365 productivity tools
- Microsoft Copilot and workplace use cases
- Copilot Studio and introductory automation solutions
- Continuously improve content based on learner feedback, employer input and performance data.
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Deliver training through:
- Classroom‑based sessions
- Virtual delivery via Microsoft Teams
- One‑to‑one and small group coaching
- Facilitate practical learning experiences that enable learners to:
- Apply Microsoft tools effectively in the workplace
- Improve productivity through Copilot
- Build simple solutions using Copilot Studio
- Adapt delivery methods to meet varying learner and employer requirements.
AI Adoption & Workplace Application
- Support employers to adopt and embed AI technologies within their organisations.
- Deliver practical training covering:
- Prompt engineering fundamentals
- Workflow optimisation using AI
- Automation opportunities through Copilot Studio and related technologies
- Promote responsible AI usage, including governance, ethics and data protection considerations.
Learner Support & Progress Monitoring
- Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback.
Conduct reviews to ensure learners remain on track.
Identify and overcome barriers to learning.
Support safeguarding and wellbeing requirements.
Stakeholder & Employer Engagement
- Build strong relationships with employer partners.
- Support training needs analysis activities.
- Advise employers on AI adoption and digital skills development.
- Work collaboratively with business development and curriculum teams.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Maintain accurate learner records in line with ESFA requirements.
- Ensure delivery meets Ofsted quality standards.
- Participate in internal quality assurance activities and audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across apprenticeship provision.
Professional Development & Innovation
- Keep up to date with developments in Microsoft technologies, AI and automation.
- Continuously enhance your own knowledge and delivery capability.
- Support the development of new AI and digital programmes.
- Act as an advocate for innovation across the Apprenticeships team.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
- Level 5 qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience delivering training within apprenticeships or workforce development.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Copilot and workplace productivity tools.
- Experience supporting learners to achieve structured learning outcomes.
- Strong communication, coaching and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
- Proactive, adaptable and solution‑focused approach.
Desirable
- Experience delivering AI or digital apprenticeship standards.
- Experience with Copilot Studio and Power Platform technologies.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI adoption strategies.
- Understanding of automation tools and workflow design.
- Awareness of apprenticeship funding and compliance requirements.
- Teaching or training qualification (AET, CET, DET or equivalent).
- Relevant Microsoft certifications.

Role Requirements
- Based within the UK, with the ability to travel when required.
- Remote role with attendance at our Tyne & Wear office once per month.
- Full UK driving licence.
