Job summary

NiCE in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Software Architect to shape the design and delivery of our AI‑Led platform. You will own the architecture, set technical direction, and work across cloud‑based, multi‑server environments.

You will mentor engineers, make risk‑balanced decisions about when and how to apply AI, ensure security and scalability, and collaborate with Product Management to align roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing C# applications with Visual Studio/VS Code.
• Ability to translate market requirements into secure, scalable system designs.
• Experience with multi-tenant cloud solutions.
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with source control and DevOps practices.
• Experience creating RESTful APIs and API extensibility.
• Recent practical use of AI tooling in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, and carry out design, AI‑Led implementation and validation in Cloud‑based, multi‑threaded, multi‑server environments.
• Leading technical decisions on architectural direction using a collaborative, team‑based approach.
• Ensuring the architecture takes into account security, scalability, compatibility, maintainability — and responsible AI use.
• Performing testing, fixing defects, and helping to resolve customer support cases.
• Ensuring the team adheres to the architectural direction and standards.
• Mentoring and coaching team members in architecture practices and AI‑Led delivery techniques.
• Liaising with Product Management during planning sessions.
