Job summary

Wrexham University is seeking a Digital Systems & AI Integration Associate (SMART Partnership Associate) for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Ewloe. The role leads the design, build, and embedding of an AI decision-support tool within frontline housing services, in collaboration with Flintshire County Council and the university’s academic supervisors.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Computing, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Experience or familiarity with AI and ML concepts is expected.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with academic and council teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement and embed Flintshire CC’s AI decision support tool.
• Collaborate with Wrexham University Supervisors and Flintshire CI Digital Solutions Team.
• Apply AI/ML models to diverse data sets to derive insights for service delivery.
• Contribute to an AI-powered information hub improving frontline staff support and resident experience.
