Job summary

OXFIDA, based in Oxford, is seeking a Product Manager to own AI products for the insurance sector from discovery through to launch and growth. You will manage two live/early-stage products and oversee bespoke applications for a UK customer, while expanding the EU portfolio.

You will collaborate with engineering, legal, compliance and sales to define roadmaps, validate concepts, and ensure scalable, compliant product delivery. The role emphasizes autonomous leadership and best-practice sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end product development (discovery to launch).
• Ability to manage multiple products with varying maturity.
• Strong communication with engineers, partners and stakeholders.
• Comfort with ambiguity and establishing processes in a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Own product vision, strategy, positioning and roadmap grounded in customer needs and commercial objectives.
• Lead discovery, validation and pilot work with customers and partners, translating insights into prioritized requirements.
• Partner with engineering to take products from concept to launch and continuous improvement.
• Balance bespoke requests with scalable, multi-customer goals.
• Maintain light-touch ownership of production applications for an existing customer.
• Develop commercial propositions: segments, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market support.
• Collaborate with governance stakeholders to meet regulatory and ethical expectations.
• Build relationships across engineering and product teams, aligning on direction and progress.
• Share templates, tools, and best practices to uplift the wider product function.
