Arm is seeking a hands-on technologist with deep AI expertise to translate research into scalable, production-ready AI solutions for our engineering workflows in Cambridge.

You will collaborate across AI/ML, GenAI, LLMs, and agentic systems, shaping practical capabilities, establishing standards, and shepherding ideas from concept to MVP with measurable business impact. We foster hybrid working and continuous learning in a world-class team.

Qualifications

• Deep hands on expertise across AI, ML, GenAI, LLMs, RAG and applied AI engineering.
• Strong software and backend engineering capability with CI/CD and cloud-native practices.
• Strong Python skills and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn.
• Experience with LLM and agentic patterns, including retrieval, orchestration, tool use, evaluation, guardrails, and governed production deployment.
• Understanding of AI architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, model-agnostic design, reusable frameworks, and scalable AI engineering practices.
• Ability to translate emerging research into practical, high‑value solutions, moving from concept to MVP and production.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, privacy, governance, model security, risk management.

Responsabilités

• Shape practical, reusable AI capabilities at Arm.
• Define and embed AI engineering standards for evaluation, observability, testing, governance, and operational readiness.
• Apply strong software engineering practices to architect, build, deploy, and scale end-to-end products, APIs, services, and enterprise apps.
• Design, build, test, and scale AI concepts and enterprise solutions across AI workflows and integrations.
• Assess models, frameworks, open-source projects, and ecosystem shifts for roadmap.
• Lead AI experimentation and incubation, turning ideas into proofs of value and MVPs.
• Create and evolve reusable patterns and guardrails for responsible innovation.
• Identify and reduce risks like hallucination and data leakage.
• Collaborate with Engineering IT to improve developer productivity.
