Job summary

CommonAI CIC in Cambridge is seeking a skilled communicator and analyst to translate investor questions into well-defined simulation studies and actionable technical evidence. You will work with investors and engineers to make SIL’s framework accessible to non-specialists, guiding studies, clarifying assumptions, and presenting findings clearly.

Working with the engineering team, you will convert feedback into improvements for the framework and contribute to the Scientific Director’s technology

Qualifications

• Deep-tech diligence experience and technical analysis skills.
• Experience translating investor questions into actionable studies.
• Ability to explain findings to both investors and engineers.
• Strong quantitative judgement and writing skills.
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure, semiconductors, HPC is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Translate investment questions into clear study briefs with assumptions and workloads.
• Guide investors through guided studies and explain framework results.
• Produce concise assessments of findings, uncertainties and next steps.
• Contribute to SIL technology roadmap by integrating hardware and software insights.
• Collaborate with engineers to turn feedback into framework improvements.
• Analyze early projects comparing AI infrastructure options and report findings.
