Zusammenfassung

Benifex is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead AI-native engineering teams and define how AI-driven leadership works in practice. You will oversee engineers across pods, balance delivery with hands-on contribution, and coach for growth while aligning with product roadmaps and company OKRs.

You will operate in a hybrid model in the UK, shaping an organisation that embraces AI tooling, performance metrics, and continuous improvement across the engineering function.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading teams in world-class product/tech organisations or high-growth startups.
• Proven ability to build and lead engineering teams.
• Ability to guide through real ambiguity and transformation (AI-driven).
• Experience leading engineering teams through AI-assisted development adoption.
• Hands-on with modern AI tooling, prompt engineering, RAG, or agents.
• Track record of owning and improving engineering KPIs.
• Pioneering approach to engineering leadership.

Aufgaben

• Directly manages engineers across pods, guiding work, estimating efforts, removing blockers.
• Actively participates in technical work with AI-assisted tools.
• Builds and works with AI skills and agents within the team.
• Collaborates with Product Managers and tech leads to guide roadmap.
• Provides feedback to grow engineers and enforces development methodologies.
• Standardises processes while giving pods autonomy for delivery.
• Owns delivery and quality metrics for pods with clear baselines and targets.
• Aligns teams to company objectives via measurable OKRs.
• Monitors engineer wellbeing and addresses systemic issues.
• Recognises milestones to boost morale and engagement.
