Burns Sheehan Limited is partnering with a fast-growing AI scale-up in London, currently expanding its engineering team. The role of Engineering Manager focuses on building the function from scratch, shaping culture and delivering scalable processes.

The position is hybrid with two days in London and offers significant equity potential alongside a competitive package. You will lead early-stage architecture decisions, coach engineers, and collaborate closely with product and design.

• From a software engineering background and can still hold your own technically.
• Have managed engineers before and enjoy coaching people and unblocking delivery.
• Like scale-up ambiguity and want to bring structure to it.

We're partnering with a fast-growing AI adoption and skills platform that helps major global organisations roll out AI safely and confidently. They've just closed a funding round with top-tier VC backing, passed £1M+ ARR with 15,000+ users, and are now expanding into the US. They're hiring for one of their first Engineering Managers to help the team double in size.

Hybrid: 2 days a week in London

What you'll do as Engineering Manager

• Lead 1-1 engineering pods, with 1:1s, coaching, feedback and career growth
• Improve delivery, process and ways of working as the team scales
• Get hands-on with early-stage architecture and technical decisions
• Shape engineering culture from day one
