Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering leadership in SaaS.
• Hands-on mobile and systems architecture across web, mobile, and backend.
• AI in engineering as a core capability.
• Experience migrating from monoliths to microservices.
• Executive communication with stakeholders.
• People-first leadership and psychological safety.

Responsibilities

• Grow and mentor teams with regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Drive hiring, onboarding, and retention in Leeds.
• Lead technical vision and roadmaps across web, cloud, and mobile.
• Oversee migration from EC2 monolith to AWS EKS microservices.
• Champion AI-first SDLC and manage incidents + vendor relationships.
