Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services UK is seeking an AI Architect to drive AI-first software engineering practices across large enterprise environments. You will combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to transform delivery models and enable measurable business outcomes.

In this role you will lead transformation roadmaps, design AI-enabled architectures, assess tools, and mentor engineering teams while collaborating with business leaders to realise productivity gains and cost efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Strong software development background with AI-enabled delivery experience.
• Experience with AI tools and IDEs such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, VS Code.
• Solid knowledge of prompt engineering and agentic AI concepts.
• Hands-on with SDLC platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to align technology changes with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess software ecosystems to identify AI-driven transformation opportunities.
• Develop roadmaps aligned with business goals and measurable metrics.
• Design AI-first software development practices and governance models.
• Evaluate AI-powered tools and platforms to boost productivity.
• Lead AI safety, governance, testing frameworks, and standards.
• Create scalable AI-enabled architectures for enterprise solutions.
• Drive adoption of AI across development, testing, DevOps and operations.
• Lead prototypes and POC initiatives to demonstrate value.
• Translate technical improvements into quantified business outcomes.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to engineering teams.
