Job summary

Experience and Transformation is seeking a Consulting Solutions Architect to drive end-to-end architecture for diverse UK clients, from As-Is assessments to To-Be designs. You will collaborate with BAs, Lead Consultants, and SMEs to shape cloud-based solutions and AI model deployment, while guiding phased transitions and vendor selections.

You will present architectures to stakeholders, and work with development teams to ensure delivery aligns with defined specifications and business goals.

Qualifications

• Understanding of contemporary software engineering and appropriate technology patterns.
• Ability to design full-stack solutions in a team context.
• Deep knowledge of at least one major Cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Confident in explaining design decisions to clients and stakeholders.
• Experience with DevOps practices enabling CI/CD and IaC.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with integration methods and protocols (REST API, Kafka).
• Knowledge of Cloud-native resources (Lambdas, Functions, Kubernetes).
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Define and assess technical architectures and solutions.
• Define technical requirements and ensure traceability.
• Produce high- and low-level technical designs.
• Define tools and practices to monitor and support cloud apps.
• Architect end-to-end data ingestion, processing and storage, including ML/AI deployment as applicable.
• Recommend rationalisation and optimisation of architectures.
• Provide cost-optimisation recommendations.
• Collaborate with BA and Lead Consultant to align architecture with business priorities.
• Support delivery teams during implementation to ensure alignment with specifications.
• Present architecture proposals to clients and respond to questions.
