Job summary

Ocho People Ltd. seeks an AI Engineering Manager to lead AI delivery for healthcare and public sector clients across the UK. You will be the senior technical voice on projects, guiding software and AI components from design to production.

Role combines hands-on ML work with team leadership, coaching engineers, coordinating with client stakeholders, and supporting bids while ensuring credible delivery. Travel is required, with expenses covered.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying ML models in production at scale.
• Strong Python engineering discipline and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to lead and coach engineering teams.
• Eligibility for SC clearance and willingness to travel UK-wide.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery of AI solutions from architecture through to production.
• Deploy and serve machine learning models in production at significant scale.
• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams across the whole solution.
• Agree architecture with senior client stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of modern AI frameworks and cloud-native architectures.
• Plan and manage client delivery with quality and timelines.
• Support tenders and identify opportunities within client accounts.
• Manage, coach and develop engineers, raising standards.
• Build long-term client relationships based on delivery.
• Contribute to the wider AI community through knowledge sharing.
