Job summary

eFinancialCareers is seeking an AI Engineer in London to develop Generative AI applications and bring them into production. You will work with Python, React and AWS to build LLM-powered features, RAG pipelines and agentic workflows.

Ideal candidates have strong Python and React/TypeScript experience and hands-on experience with GenAI, embeddings, and prompt engineering. 3-4 days onsite in Paddington, hybrid work model.

AI Engineer - Python / React / GenAI

London - Paddington | 3-4 days onsite | Contract | Inside IR35

We're looking forAI Engineers to join a large financial services organisation in London, working on the development of new Generative AI applications.

You'll be joining a team building and taking AI solutions into production, working predominantly withPython, React and AWS.

The work will include building applications usingLLMs, developingRAG pipelines, working withAI agents/agentic workflows, and integrating AI capabilities with existing applications and data.

What we're looking for

• Understanding ofAI agents / agentic workflows
• AWS experience
• Experience taking applications into production

Experience with areas such asvector databases, embeddings, LLM evaluation, prompt engineering, Claude and GitHub Copilot would be beneficial.

You'll need to be comfortable working closely with both technical and business teams, and able to take fairly open-ended problems and turn them into working solutions.

Financial services experience would be useful but isn't essential.

Location: Paddington, London

Hybrid: 3-4 days per week onsite
