Job summary

Harnham in London is hiring an AI Engineer to join a newly formed AI function operating in a hybrid model (3 days a week in London). You will design, build and deploy AI and ML solutions across GenAI and agentic AI, shaping how AI is adopted and scaled within a major organisation.

You will work closely with data scientists, engineers and product teams to deliver production-ready models, establish governance and responsible AI practices, and help set the technical direction for the AI team.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and software engineering background.
• Commercial experience delivering machine learning models into production.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs and AI application development.
• Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, CI/CD and containerisation.
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure.
• Understanding of model evaluation, monitoring and responsible AI.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities
