Job summary

GSK is seeking an Automation Enablement Lead to empower DPTF teams to build AI capabilities independently. You will own the reusable pattern library, drive AI-first practices, and uplift platform engineers to deliver AI with minimal central support.

You will collaborate with governance bodies on standards, ship scalable patterns, and mentor teams across locations to raise enterprise AI fluency and delivery maturity.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in engineering including hands-on software development, and AI or ML delivery.
• Experience setting patterns, standards or reference implementations adopted by teams outside direct control.
• Experience embedding automated quality and evaluation gates into a governed lifecycle.
• Experience coaching other engineers and building enablement communities.
• Experience translating enterprise standards into actionable delivery patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own the golden pattern library and paved paths for AI delivery, publishing architectural standards.
• Drive AI-First delivery adoption across platform teams within a governed lifecycle.
• Build AI capability in engineers so dedicated AI headcount is not required in every team.
• Run the AI community of practice and governance forums, sharing effective practices.
• Publish and maintain references and guidance so teams can adopt without escalation.
• Collaborate with talent and hiring leads to raise AI fluency as a norm for new hires.
